hey folks, are you all interested in setting up courts on saturday august 21st from 3-9 at the chevy chase block party?

bourbon and toulouse has extended an invite and seem really into us playing there. i know the pads are in not so good shape, but we managed quite well at the limestone shindig not too long ago.

i wont see you all this wednesday cuz i got to go to louisville on that day here on out till august. so either respond here or i'll try to feel it out sunday. unless someone can bring it up wednesday at polo. that would be great.

Like Boyd, I'll also be set up at the Woodland Art Fair until early evening. Probably around 8pm or so. Does the Block Party only go until 9pm?

Someone else needs to commit to this and bottom line it. I have yet to confirm this event, so if you wanna bottom line it speak up.

If there is a trailer or something that I can get the barriers on, then I don't mind rounding that stuff up.

Here's what it would take if anyone wants to head this up:

Someone to confirm that the pads are where they are usually kept (Masterson courts)

Someone to coordinate enough volunteers and a vehicle (or two) that will haul the pads to & from the location.

Someone to get in touch with the coordinators of the block party and figure out where and when you can set up... and most importantly, to make sure it's not too late to get in on this. It may be, because the event is less than a week away at this point. So, whoever does step up would need to do it like, NOW.

and finally, someone to spread the word and get plenty of players to come out and make a good showing.

This comes from the man I've been in contact over the block party.

This sounds great! Def not to late. Drop me an email at kevinheathcoat@yahoo.com and let me know what time you want to play. Party is from 3-9. You can play the whole time if you want. We don't care. We'll love to have you for as long as you want. First round of PBR is on us for all players.  Remind me I said this!

So who ever wants to bottom line this, shoot him an email.
