I am looking for a decent or less-than-decent road bike for a reasonable price. I ride a mountain bike around the city like an idiot, and I'd like to change that. Thanks!

why not just buy some slicks or thinner tires to make the mt. bike more apt for city riding? it'd be a heck of a lot cheaper.

I put some Geax Roadsters on my 26" tandem. They make the bike significantly faster. The Geax Street Runners were tempting, but too thin for the tandem.

I'm right at 6', so that might be a little small, but I'd love to take a look at it.

If you're 6' a 52cm will be more than a little small. I'd keep searching.

I have a 56cm raleigh super course road frame. A friend of mine raced it a few years ago. But the head tube is cracked. But not all the way through.it looks like a crack in the paint really. its the smallest crack ever and you would never notice it unless i pointed it out. It still has plenty of life in it. I've just never done anything with it. If you dont come across anything let me know.
