Good call Tiff. I think that is the most sensible and achievable small step to make. However, it has started to frost regularly and if we don't get the paint on soon it probably won't matter. Also, I think we need to take the existing boards along the fence off to paint them, to make sure that all the sides get coated.

Who has old brushes and painting stuff?

What day are we planning on doing this?

Has anyone estimated the cost of getting just one coat of paint on all of it?

I think the 2x's around the fence are fine there is a space under them so they are not touching the ground, so they dry quick and are never in standing water. the plywood is taking it in from the top and its getting in between the ply's.

I heard beer santa is going to come to polo with about a half keg of PBR... just what I heard.

I think it is his penance for missing polo for a few months... just what I heard

If santa was gonna roll in on his polo sleigh, what time would be best?

They look good! But aren't the goal cones the same color? Methinks they ought to be painted a contrasting color to help differentiate them.

Would we wait until the seasons change before building the next court?

Good job everyone! They look great. Are the opposite baseboards white? This was needed and just in time.

the inside of the boards along the chain link are not primed or painted... but could be done so without too much trouble. We would just need to unscrew the 2x4's from the other side of the fence, paint, and then screw everything back into place.

Anyone have any idea what they're building back there by the Police stables? I see that work is coming along, but I never see anyone there working so that I can ask about it...

B
I think the structure is going to house bathrooms, and who knows what else. Maybe a covered picnic area, or a concession stand that would sell tires and tubes and 40's....
